The Academic Institute of Excellence has a job opening for a Student Support Administrator. The student support person is in charge of managing and answering student support queries via phone, email and our online ticketing system. This person monitors the general trends of the support queries and informs management of escalating or perceived problems.
Duties include:
ο· Answering, solving and closing requests submitted via phone, email and our online ticketing system.
ο· Keeping track of trends and common questions and informing management timeously
ο· Deciding when to escalate a query.
ο· Following up to ensure all queries are sufficiently resolved
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
ο· Perform student support by attending to student related queries, received via phone, email and online portal.
ο· Be willing to go beyond expectations to ensure students are satisfied.
ο· Assess the situation and make decision on answering or escalating the queries
ο· Manage student queries and resolutions by following up and ensuring escalated tickets are resolved.
ο· Assist with general academic administration duties when required.
ο· Assist with general quality requests when required.
Required Experience:
ο· Grade 12.
ο· Must be fully bi-lingual in both English and Afrikaans.
ο· Demonstrate an above average ability to understand and learn technology.
ο· Must be able to work under pressure.
ο· Excellent attention to detail.
ο· Be innovative in solving problems and apply creative solution for efficient resolutions.
ο· Professional phone and email etiquette.
ο· Excellent communication skills.
ο· Ability to assess a situation to determine the severity of a problem and escalate when required.
Salary: R8000 per month
